Norton Disney offers excellent facilities including an extensive range of cross-country jumps across, ranging in height from 80 cm up to Novice level at 1.10m, including an inviting water complex.

All fences are built by Joe to BE regulations and include brushes, roll-tops, corners, skinny fences and open ditches. Every fence is brought in over the winter, refurbished and put out in a new location for the next season so the course constantly changes. The free-draining land is grazed by sheep over the winter to support excellent going.

There are lots of different, practical and user-friendly fences, cleverly placed and linked in a way that suits all types and level of horse, and allows the rider to establish a good rhythm.

The fences mimic situations and tests that are found at Horse Trials at all levels, making them an ideal facility for riders, trainers and coaches alike. The course is regularly used for training by top eventers.

There is also a 45 x 25m outdoor arena with all-weather surface and a full set of competition show jumps available by prior booking.

To hire the cross-country course is £30 per horse. Cash, cheques (payable to “Norton Disney Equestrian Ltd“), and BACS payments accepted. Bookings are all managed to avoid over-crowding on the course.

To book please ring or text Ali on 07946 374158 or send a message via Facebook. You will be asked to complete an online disclaimer before you are allowed to enter the farm.

The cross country course is open for schooling from February through to October but is closed prior to the onsite BE Horse Trials and occasionally through the year for ground maintenance, fence changes and improvements.

If you wish to run a clinic at Norton Disney, we can cater for any requirements including boarded dressage arenas, SJ courses and full use of the cross-country course. Please contact Ali on 07946 374158.

Please drive in to the yard and park on the grass next to the white caravans. For detailed directions, please see our Contact page.
